widescreen support for Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC Edition X102

hi,

I have a Fujitsu Siemens SCENIC Edition X102 (P4) and bought a samsung lcd monitor syncmaster 2233BW (wide screen natural resolution 1650x1050). i have an integrated graphic card SIS 661 fx with the latest driver from sis (3.385). i can switch under xp to the resolution 1650x1050 but on my lcd i have to sroll to see all the conted. is it possible to solve the problem over a new bios? can you help me please?

my motherboard is a D2140 A version and i already have installed the latest bios.

the information for my bios from the biosagentplus is:

please post a direct link to the BIOS (fujutsu-siemens site) or make a backup copy of your current BIOS and upload it somewhere nice (directupload, etc). i'll take a look at it, patch it and upload it to our download site.

please make a backup of your current bios. i need a binary file to patch in the video bios. i can't use the proprietary FuSi OMF/OCF/BUP format.

sorry, you have to use another program to backup the bios. i hope you didn't run uniflash from within windows.

no i started with a boot disk and made a backup. which is the correct program to make the backup for this motherboard? i tried awdflash, but didnt worked out coz the bios is too old?

use winphlash. it is made for phoenix bioses.

is it possible to update afterward the bios with winphlash under the running windows xp?

sorry, this still is not the BIOS.
maybe you could ask the author of this thread how he backed up his BIOS?
