BIOS Updates forum

Hey guys, I need some help.
I have searched everywhere.
I have a widescreen monitor on an HP540n and naturally cannot get the resolution. Installed the latest Sis 3.73 Drivers for the integrated chipset.
Bios version 1.05

Regedit says Ive got:

ASUS - 42302e31
Award Medallion BIOS v6.0
Award Plug and Play BIOS Extension v1.0A
Award Medallion BIOS v6.0
Extension BIOS Plug & Play Award v1.0A
Award Modular BIOS v6.0

HwInfo32 says my motherboard is an AsusTek P4S-LA.
I've run other programs and that's all I can find on the motherboard.
Biosagent says the bios are out of date anyways, but I don't know what to do.

Chipset is SiS650 + 85C503/5513/961
I know this is an onboard motherboard and I cannot find the appropriate bios. I also have no idea if there is another name for the motherboard
I tried PS333-VM bios which were supposed to be comparable but did not work.

I also installed an extra gig of Ram which is clocking at half speed. Don't know if this has to do with the bios.
I'm running XPSP3. So basically I need bios for the P4S-LA.
And I can't find anything anywhere.
Can anyone help please?

aright cp, i installed the update on the hp page.
didnt do much
i still cant get widescreen resolution.
initially i was only getting 800x600 with everything else out of range.
the video drivers needed to be reinstalled.
i reinstalled the sis650 3.73 driver and was able to get 1024x768 again.
support bios are listed as 3.0, however video bios are at
1.10, up a bit from 1.05.
still not enough to get me widescreen. i need updated vbios?
im using an envision h19w monitor. no driver updates help.
anything you can do to help?
