hello,
i bought inno3d sis6326 PCI adapter and have a big trouble with installation it into Siemens Nixdorf Scenic Pro M5, PhoenixBIOS V4.05 R1.05.969.
PC motherboard contains integrated PCI videoadapter Cirrus Logic GD5446. My problem is in a itegration of external PCI SIS6326 videoadapter into PC. If I try to boot PC with inserted external videoadapter then no videooutput signals from both adapters and PC halted on Win98 startup.
Maybe PhoenixBIOS can't support on boot 2 VGA devices?
or PhoenixBIOS can't recognize videoBIOS on inno3d board?
That do you think about unsoldering GD5446 chip from motherboard?
Is it chance of saccess?
Could you please help me to resolve described problem?
Thank you in advance.

You have a Siemens D969 board .
Have a look into the manual how to disable OnBoard Video or how to use a PCI Video card !

No BIOS can handle two PCI graphic cards!

Older D8xx boards do disable internal VGA (Tseng) as soon as you plug in another graphics card.
Do you have any other PCI graphics card to test (an older one, S3, ATI or Matrox based)?
If this card does work, it's a problem with the Bios of the SiS card.
If it does also not work, the auto-disable feature is removed/broken.
