BIOS Updates forum

my excalibur radeon 7500, 128 mb does'nt work on my computer
i have windows xp pro
and my bios # is 09/22/2000-693a-686a-2a6lgg0tc-00
i tried to get new drivers for this card and with now luck
it just doesnt wanna work..
my other card ati 7500 64mb works just fine but not the newer one
any help out there>>>>
also where do i get free bios updates???

What do you mean by "does not work"? Blank screen after power-up or it does not install in Windows?
The board looks to be GigaByte GA-6VM7A+ - check what's printed on it.

my motherboard is a finlay 693a (some clone i never heard of)
but this is my first computer that i purchased
.....

when i put the card in the machine(HIS excallibur radeon 7500 128mb)
and reboot .... the image is very screwy ..in the settings it donesnt reconize the radeon 128 . it says that i have a 4mb card (even tho my old card is a 7500 64MB??)
this 4mb is the basic default that comes with this card
