69030 bios initialization

hi all,
this is my first mail on this group. I m working on TX49 processor from TOSHIBA. Since i m using an evaluation board hence i don't have a system bios. I have a 69030 vga card from chips and technology. i have get the console (monochrome mode Text) up for netbsd.
Since i bios initialization is not performed in this case then How can i perform BIOS initialization and what r the bios initialization for monochrome mode. Also where is bios are the character font maps stored ?.
