Old Jetway Mobo + Radeon 9250 = Missmatch???

Hi
I have a Jetway 663As Ultra motherboard with the chipset is VIA KT-133A (VT8363A/VT 82C686B).
I want to put in a videocard, Sapphire Radeon 9250 128 Mb, 128bit.
When the computer POSTs, I get a long and two short beeps = something wrong with videocard.
Nothing on the screen.
I have the newest BIOS from Jetway, Award BIOS A08 from 07/03/2002.
I have cleaed the CMOS.
I have tested with a Diamond Stealth III S540. It works and runs with AGP Data Transfer Rate 2x. (verified with SiSoftware)
I have tested with a Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64. It works and runs with AGP Data Transfer Rate 4x. (verified with SiSoftware)
The cardmaker said the videocard would work with the motherboard.
I have searched all over internet for a clue of why it doesn't work, but haven't found anything specific.
Have you guys any gueses or wild ideas of what can be wrong or what I can do or test?
regards
Aleatic
