Hi! I just bought a ACER 1916w asd monitor, but could not find the 1440×900 display model in the video settings.

motherboard: ASUS P4S800MX with the updated BIOS Revision 1011 Beta 002

Integrated Graphic Processor: SiS661FX with the updated driver 6.14.10.3800

I have tried to use the VBIOS updating method introducted by cp http://www.wimsbios.com/phpBB2/topic8989.html
When I was using CBROM to check the BIOS (1011c.002), there was no VGA bios, and only two bios items were listed as following:

0 system bios 20000hr(128.00k) 10486hr(65.13k) system.rom
1 other(6000:000) 089c0h(34.44k) 04728h(17.79k) group2.rom

How can I extact VBIOS and update it? Thanks very much!

PS: when using EVEREST to check the VBIOS version, the VBIOS date showed "unknown".

Asus bios is somewhat customized Award bios, so it's not 100% true Award bios, hence cbrom might have trouble finding all modules. Unsure if there's a special Asus cbrom version somewhere.

since the 1440x900 resolution is running with an updated vbios now can you please install the latest driver for your hardware (UniVGA3 3.81) and test the (very limited and slow) 3D functions of the card, too?
