ami flash ????

I wanted to flash the bios on my brothers pcchip m810lmr,but after reading some of the forums i'm not sure. The asd chip(winbond)is showing when i first started to run the flash program .Should i worry or does the asd (winbond)problem affect certain boards . thanks for any help. freemon27

The ASD chip frightens on the M598 and M599 series, but I've never heard of problems with the M810 series.

Hi again ,alright i ran it i get to an option screen. however every option i try i get the bad command error.so i cant flash .any help would be appreciated .I've flashed my own award bios several times but its never given me any problems .Thanks for help....freemon27

Try the universal flasher (AMI & AWARD) offered at Gigabyte's site (
