Bios Update?

Hi new to updating Bios's so forgive me if I'm being really dumb.
When i start my computer i get the following details
08/13/2008 - Broadwater - 6A79LFKFC-00
Phoenix AwardBIOS v6.00 PG
9657AA Series 638F1P51 081308
just wondering how I find out if there is a Bios update out there for me. and if there is how do I find it?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
