Do I need to upgrade to kill a virus?

Recently while installing a new hard drive my computer just out of no where started playing this cheesy music, because there was no hard drive in at the time I figure there is some kind of virus in my bios. Will upgrading my bios wipe it out? Thanks. Neil

Sounds more like an alarm suggesting an overheating CPU, or the alarm temperature in BIOS is set too low.

You know my fan does need to be replaced because it is dragging when you first turn it on, however when the music starts playing the computer will shut down or do other weird stuff. Thanks for the input!!
