I think that URL should come with a health warning. I nearly had a heart attack with all the advertisement windows popping up and software trying to install itself

Why don't you tell us what kind of support you're looking for?

If you want support for bigger HDDs, send me your BIOS - I can patch it.

Arrrrghhhh!!!

Summary of what has been said:

a) AIR's website is gone, and no other site has taken over its support, even if, as you allege, Gigabyte took over. You will practically find NO support ANYWHERE... :(
b) We asked you about what you required from a BIOS upgrade... no answer...
c) We offered you the possibility of patching (ourselves) your current BIOS release (requiring a copy of it from you) to get large HDD (over 64GB upto 128GB) support... and now you're back to your first post... 8O

Will you please read our posts and answer our questions?

I think that was to the point but maybe a little harsh for a newbie (I am new to this as well and would have been a bit offended by u being so blunt.)

Anyway apologies if I have now offended u, don't mean to and I know us beginners can be very frustrating! I also don't want to start a thread on etiquette. The real reason I have joined this thread is to ask how to get a copy of an existing installed BIOS if I am in the same position as Chippi of not having a supported MB.

Is there a standard procedure for backing up or copying a BIOS if there is no MB support page?

Kevin, I don't think ajz's response was unreasonable (maybe the final emoticon). Chippi didn't say why he wanted the BIOS; around here some people have experience of patching BIOSes to do things like handle bigger disks or handle additional types of processor.

But chippi won't answer the question why he wants a newer BIOS, or acknowledge that there is no known support site, and replies sarcastically when questions are asked.

"Evil" emoticon changed to a hopefully more appropriate one...

Kevin, most flashers that I know of have a "save" feature, so you can backup your existing BIOS anytime. Just use the /? switch to find out how.

I was looking through this a few weeks back, it does not look like they ever developped an update for the board.
