crazy cmptr after BIOS upgrade

hi all,
I made a BIOS update (I am not sure whether right bios or no) and my computer is not right now
. It boot, but then it write C:\P instead C:\> or ignore some DOS command and finally the system fall down.
Can be it bad becouse of the wrong BIOS or the failure is somewhere else?
(in the same time i changed my processor)
