Flashed wrong bootblock to Mylex - Any chance?

Hi everyone!

I have the feeling I killed my Controller. Here's what I did:

- Plugged my (working) AcceleRAID 250 (1-Channel U2W) into my Windows machine to update Firmware and Bios

- Downloaded the WRONG file from Mylex.com -> I downloaded the file for the AcceleRAID 150 - STUPID STUPID STUPID

- I flashed the BIOS - Restart, still working

- I flashed the FW, EzAssist and BootBlock - Restart, Nothing

- Tried several PCs - same everywhere, any machine with the controller plugged in won't boot.

I just checked the files - they seem to be the same (at least same size and filenames), except for the bootblock... KTC40659.IMG for the 150, KGJ40613.IMG for the 250. Great, maybe it would have worked, but I had to update the bootblock too. Oh boy I'm such an idiot.
Is there any way to get that thing back to work? I already tried hotplugging, but ezassist couldn't find any controllers. I searched the forum and found a hint to some "UniFlash" Program. Could that work in this case?

Any hint is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Uniflash might work or might not - you have to try
Otherwise you have to use a Bios program service
For example the Service the Bios-Kompendium offers

I'm going to try Uniflash tonight. But I wonder how I can tell the program where to write the boot block since there are 4 different files, one for the firmware, one for the bios, one for the setup and one for the bootblock. If I now run "uniflash -pcirom -e bootblockfilename.img" how does the program know that this is not the firmware or something? And, I guess it would be better if I specified the values for bus/dev/fun, since I have to put the controller in after booting, right?

Didn't work. Uniflash couldn't find any PCI card.

Sounds like RMA time to me. What does Mylex tech support tell you?

They told me that it might be possible to repair the controller but I guess that would have cost me more than just purchasing a new one, which I already did.
