Bios update wanted

I've just bought an 80 GB Maxtor disk and stupid me forgot to check if my
mobo could see/use it.
Anyways I rememered this site and checked for a bios upgrade and found
it. Or so I thought.
When starting the update (Award bios, I used awdflash v 8.12) it
complained about the checksum so I aborted and ran ctbios to identify
my board. This is the output I got:
- ID-String: 08/22/97-i430TX-2A59IA2AC-00
- Award Modular BIOS v 4.51PG
- Board version: VBS1.2 002 ATC-5040
So I checked the forum and found a topic that had a similar problem and that used
the command awd812 /py /cc /Sb and all went fine, untill I rebooted.
It now checks the memory, displays the PnP message and then stops.
I've already tried generating keyboard errors and switching hardware (video card, RAM,
unplugging/plugging all IDE/floppy) I even tried using the Intel PXE networkboot but nothing worked.
I'm now looking for the right BIOS file that will work so I can reprogram it.
Thanks in advance.
