BIOS Updates forum

My Award bios is dated 25 May 00. Do I need to update? There's a current one out there. Only reason I ask is because I have XP Pro and it likes to reboot itself over and over no matter what program I'm running. I've updated my drivers for everything I have and it's still doing it. The BIOS is my last option, but I don't want to tackle it if it isn't going to help.

I'd start checking proper CPU cooling and/or RAM quality.

Check the capacitors aroun the CPU socket, if they're not going to explode.
