I desparately try to download a biosupdate from the official chaintech website, but whatever I try, I always arrive on a Chinese site, which makes me loosing track.
Could somebody please help me asap with the bios-update and flash-utility for :
Award Modular Bios v. 4.50G
on Pentium S - 120 mHz
03/10/95-SIS-5501-5503
2A5ICC31-00
Model 5SBM S202

I think that it's not Chaintech 5SBM - it has different BIOS ID: "07/04/95-SiS-5501-5503-2A5ICC39-01".

You don't think it's a Chaintech ?
On the MB itselfs is written as model (between the PCI-slots) 5SBM S202.
Any idea how I could find the right bios-update to eliminate this big Millenium Bug actually in it ?
(Sorry for my English, I'm Dutch-speaking)

Shows 07/04/95-SiS-5501-5503-2A5ICC39-01 in modbin, this is what it will show on startup. Double-check the string you wrote down at startup.

I updated the bios whitout any problem.
Computer works just fine again.
No millenium bug anymore.
