Help needed to flash bios

| have a MSI KT4 Ultra motherboard and am needing to flash the bios in order to support a new AMD 2500xp cpu. Can someone please give me a straight forward way to do this? My mobo has AMI bios and I am using Windows xp pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the MSI site m8 but it has made me even more confused. MSI suggest three seperate ways to flash bios. One for Award bios, one for AMI bios and one for bios with a not Fat file system. I have an AMI bios with NTFS and as I fall into two catogories I am unsure as how to proceed
