Hi Everybody
In order to make a new USB 1.10 Interface (M-CAB) working I think I need
a Bios update. Please help me finding, choosing and flashing a new one.

Following Infos I have:
Award Modular Bios v. 4.51PG
Bios-ID: 04/23/97-SiS-5571-2A5IHAB9C-00
OEM Sign-On: AP57 R1.10 Apr.23.1997
Chipset: SiS 5571 Rev 0
Superio: SMC 669 rev 2 found at port 3F0h
OS: Microsoft Windows 98 SE Version: 4.10.222 A

Select Downloads - BIOS - Motherboards - AP57.
No complicated options for AP57 - just one BIOS shown R1.5

yes I saw this some time before already. But they tell in their description,
that only some hang ups at password setting are fixed.
for this reason I didn't take it yet.
Do you mean that I can assume that USB features are also fixed there?

I can not guarantee that USB support is in there, but if yours is a 1997 BIOS R1.10 and theirs is a 1998 BIOS R1.50, there may have been versions 1.20, 1.30 and 1.40 which fixed other things, maybe including USB support ?
