Hello,
excuseme but my english it is not good,
I have some trouble, becouse the Bios found 8GB of 30GB of HD

Pentium-S 75MHZ
BIOS Date: 01/27/96
BIOS Type: Award Modular Bios V4.50PG
BIOS ID: 01/27/96-i430FX-2A59CS2PC-00
Chipset: I430FX/INTEL TRION-FX
OEM: Soyo
OEM Info: Rew UA2.2

Some times ago i have formated the HD...
Must i execute AwdFlash with Win9X installed in the HD?

I have tested this update file with AwdFlash 8.12:
http://www.soyo.com.tw/downloads/dlmiss ... bcd71a22b1

the software print this Error:

-> The programma file's part number <-
-> dose not match with your system <-

I hope that you have understood  :?:

Many thanks in advance

Thanks
Andrea Cecchinato

Your link took me to 5TE. Your board is 5TCU according to a Google search. This would explain the mismatch message.

Name: 5TCU-A23.BIN
Size: 131072
Release Date: 1997-10-05
Type: BIOS Upgrade

This BIOS probably has the 32GB and 64 GB bugs and will need to be patched for your drive, but I suggest you test it anyway.

Then you either have a standard EPROM or the flashing voltage is set wrong.

the progressbar remains grey, and the process doesn't finish
the led of the floppy disk it remains ignited ... and the computer not work...

What I must make?
There is a utility that it allows to see if the bios can support update, and if it is setted in the correct way for being the upgrade?

Thanks

Are you using AWDflash from a boot diskette ? I ask because I am surprised to see what looks like a screen dump which makes me wonder whether you are using it from Windows in a DOS box.
