Another Bios Upgrade

Another Bios Upgrade I need some assistance with. This is for a PC which is around 5 years old and very much on it's last legs. It is an AMD Athlon 600MHz.
I did upgrade the bios once before, but it was not a straightforward job.
The bios is American Megatrends. The motherboard is ASUS.
Details as follows:

62-0117-000000-00101111-071595-IAABA130-F
Project code: K7M
ASUS board version 1.xx
Can anyone help? I would just like to get the bios as up to date as possible.
