ASUS BIOS Update problem.

I updated my ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard BIOS from v.1009 to v.1013 ising the ASUS BIOS update tool through windows. Everything installed fine and wanted to reboot so it did then it booted to POST with a checksum error and said to enter BIOS and set the CPU frequency which I did to what it was before (133mhz-Athlon XP 1800+) then when I F10 to save it acts lik eit is going to reboot again but then stops with nothing on the screen. The monitor screen says input is inactive from compter. Someone please help. I emailed ASUS 3 times in the past 4 weeks and they have not replied. Thanks you for your time, Ron.
