Is this a bios problem? (SONY VAIO)

I have a SONY VAIO VGN-A297XP that has not a parallel potr. So i bought a SUNIX PCMCIA to PARALLEL port.
The problem is that windows dont see the LPT port everytime i boot. It needs to remove and then insert the card again.
The BIOS does not have any options about plug and play devices.
Is there any solution???
I need this port to use a HASP.
