Hello, Rayman I am just about to flash the same motherboard as yours be it a BX or ZX chipset for someone else's PC(I'm worried). I have read all the forum postings on this board's Bios. The question's are was your Bios an AMI and you tried flashing an Award one? Did you use Award utility? Have you tried pressing Ctrl+ Home to boot from newly made up floppy? Someone said they had luck flashing an AMI Bios using AMI utility and Award v 1.6 Bios to cross flash. Others are saying to use Uniflash utility and ensure to flash bootblock in procedure.
It sounds as though you had a AMI Bios.
Were you certain of the chipset ie BX or ZX as there are different Bioses?

What was your outcome is what I need to know and chipset/Bios type details from the start.

Hope this helps.
