CPU Temperature

Hello Members. On my new build , while in the bios, prior to my loading win xp, my cpu, a Celeron D 326 is running at 72deg. C. MB is Asrock 775VM800. This seems hot, wondering weather to remove thermal pad and try thermal grease. Regards, Godfrey.
