BIOS Updates forum

I'm trying to update the Bios of my computer.

The information I know about is:

Bios type: Award modular Bios v4.51PG
Bios Version Number: 2A6LGTGB
Motherboard Model: TRM-P6PRO-A+ v1.01
Motherboard Manufacturer: Tekram
Chipset of the Motherboard: Via Apollo Pro Plus

but i dont know if this info is correct.
I got this info in the first menu when booting the computer in th string:

07/16/1999-693-596B-W977-2A6LGTGBC-00

I was thinking to use the awdflash utilitie to update the bios...
Is that a good idea??

And, what updated file (*.bin) should i use??

Were can i find it ??
What info is needed to look for it??

I have award modular Bios v6.00PG,i need to update this bios ,because i am not able to work on that in that iam getting bule scren error.any latest bios updations any thing is there plz help me .
