Check top surface of board in upper left corner with keyboard connector in upper right for a 35-xxxx-xx marking in small print and reply with that.

Thanks

in the location I am trying to direct you to there is a model number. This is a PcPartner board and they hide their model number over there. Small print is really small, it can be etched in the copper as well in 1.5 mm high characters.

Please inspect this section of your motherboard a little closer - such an ID-number must be there, maybe covered with a small sticker. Maybe you'll find this number between the PCI/ISA slots.

So what should I do? In the device manager there are a few applications that just won't work - they are '!' out. so if it is not my bios that's wrong, does any one know what I can do to put my puter right. I've reinstalled XP a few times to see if that will solve the prob and even tried to uninstall or suspend the devices that show the '!', but still no joy.

thanks in advance to whom ever helps me.

Hi,

I've visited your site to try and get my bios number from - but have no money to buy it. Another thing, if I already have the most up to date drivers in my bios then I'm sure that it will not make a difference to my computer problems just be replacing it with the same.

The problem that I have it that in my device manager I have twp copies of some hardware and my friend thinks that thie wrong bios is causing the problem. Come of the applications in the device mamager are '!' out and is says that were are not enough recourses to run them. I've uninstall somethings to give me the resourse but after a reboot they just reinstall themselves again. I really do not know what to do. i've tried reinstalling Windows again but still the problem remains.

I have two via Bus mater IDE controllers

2 creative audio pci's

com one and two plus the LPT! is '!' out

ISANPN Read Data Port is '!' out

Have two VIA CPU to AGP Controllers

2 USB root hus

VIA rev or later usb universal host controllers '!' out.

Please, is there anyone out there that can sort my problem out?

Thanks in advance to whoever helps me. It means a lot.

Cheers
