Your eMachines BIOS is newest than original Foxconn 6100K8MB-RS motherboard BIOS:

thnx for reply kuriaki, yes i know its newer but i'd rather roll back maybe to an older version hoping i will then be able to change a few settings in the bios so i can get a bit more out of my processor speed wise its running stock and i know for a fact the sempron's can be clocked to 2.5ghz no prob so this is where i trying to go with this. Would u not recommend me doing so then kuriaki?? Many thnx in advance :)

Most of Foxconn motherboards are for the OEM market. Every vendor has his own BIOS. I'm not sure if both (retail and OEM) BIOS versions are compatibles.

We'll have to wait for someone to be brave enough to flash the retail bios on his/her board.
