Hello,

A week ago, my machine with XP Home, SP1 started to reboot suddenly. sometimes frequintly and sometimes it stays for hours before it reboots.

I didn't have any new devices. I am sure no viruses. I also checked my fan. I even replaced it and installed the new fan after putting that liquid over the processor.

A friend of mine advised me to upgrade the bios. so i need an apgrade to the following bios.

Award v6.00pg
bios-I-2M 2k010924D

Any chance.
Also any advise of a software to track the error and let me know whether the reboot is according to a fault in the motherboard, processsor or video card.....etc.
I disbaled the reboot on error option but the machine still reboots suddenly.

thnx
Hossam

A lot of models match that string, but there are no BIOS updates:
