Is there anyway to unlock an HP Vectra VE 6/xxxx Series 8 bios (FIC VB-609 oem made to HP) , in order to flash to a FIC VB-601 one ? Every time a try to do it, using HP´s "flash646 mi415.bin /f" string, I get "The rom file is not correct". The "/f" switch was suggested by KenOath, to force the flash, but doesn´t work for me, so, thaks for any help...

use uniflash...but be aware that if the bios isn't made for your board some things might not work as intended or even worse the board wouldn't start at all.
