Maybe you should for better ACPI support.

Umm. The specifications of that machine are a bit bleak for windows XP, you may be disappointed by the lack of speed after the upgrade.

I am not looking for speed per se. I am looking for more options with xp to allow me to run the ftp server that I am running on the win98 platform. I am aware that xp might not run as fast as my xp laptop, but just want to upgrade so I have more options as to the software packages that I can use to run the server.
