Im palnning to upgrade my mobo bios. I do not know which flash bios to get because I'm unsure of whether or not my mobo had lan or not.

I bought it here: its the first one ($54)
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduct.a ... 414&DEPA=1
Here is the bios flash site:
http://www.ecsusa.com/ecsusa/www.ecs.co ... wnload.htm

On the bios flash site there are bios updates for lan and no lan, i assume they are different. I dont know if my mobo has onboard lan or not. please help, just tell me how I can find out for sure.

Thanks,
-Wes

If you look at the first picture, it shows a LAN port for an RJ-45 connector directly above the 2 USB ports (which are next to the 2 PS/2 ports on the left side of the picture). If your board is still in your case, it may be that the little knockout on the I/O plate for the LAN port was not removed, thus covering the port. Also, the description at Newegg does say it has the LAN option, but best to be sure by looking. Let me know how you make out with your flash (I have the same board, with LAN).

Well, thanks alot for your help. I don't plan to flash the bios until I get my new processor. I'll let you know how it turned out after I do it, it should be sometime within the next week or two. Thanks again.
