can find the right file to upgrade my bios

I encountered a problem installing a new harddrive ( 40 gig) that will not detect as a master. It was suggested to upgrade my bios.
I found my bios id 08/14/97-VXPro+-USB-Ultr-2A5LDH09C-00 that seems to belong to a PCCHIPS M537DMA33. When I go to the manufacturers site http://www.pcchips.com.tw/BIOS.html it does not show a corresponding model number for me to dowload an update to the bios.
Have I misunderstood or am I out of luck?
Please advise.
