BIOS Updates forum

I have the motherboard asus k8v-mx motherboard,, i recently installed a 512 MB DDR ram to my system,, When i installed it suddenly my system restarted after booting and then come to normal state after only inserting the mother bios cd and reinstall bios and it completed successfully.After that several times my system restarted unocassionly.. it countinues unkonowingly......
what i have to do????

Either the newmemory is damaged, incompatible or the speed grade does not match your system properly. Or you damaged something via ESD.
What kind of memory did you buy and where?
-> manufacturer, type, speed grade

Asus board, if not on the QVL good chance it won't work...
