BIOSTAR M7VKQ Dead

Sure could use your help. Tried to flash the AWARD BIOS on the MB. Seemed to work but now the system is dead. I tried a Boot Block recovery but the floppy drive is also dead. Can't get the system to respond at all. The odd thing I noticed was that the CD-ROM light flashed when I turned power on. Tried to do a boot block recovery from there. Don't think it ever read anything .. light just flashes quickly and everything stops execpt the fans. Would a 'hot-swap' and reflash work?
