BIOS Updates forum

ok like an idiot i jacked up my new mobo, i think by accident i unprotected the boot lock flashed it with current version and i get nothing i tired clearing the cmos(moved the jumper and waited a few mins) even tried taking the battery out for a few mins, tried the mis boot recovery but i didnt wait 4 mins on it i held the CTRl-HOME keys for a few secs or so and floopy was never accesed so i just thought it wasnt working only thing i havent tried is HOT-Swapping i have order the same exact mobo and will be here in a day or 2. i am new to this forum and need help(wife is gonna kill me) what can i do any suggestions.

Almost any other mobo would have been enough to hotswap.

I just meant that you didn't need an identical mobo to perform BIOS hotswapping.

ok...well i just spoke with msi and they told me to send it in they would fix for free which is good news, and i just sold it to a coworker for 40.00 bucks so i am not out that much thank you for your help
