i have 02/18.200-693-596-ALI51-2A6LGTPEC bios id.
I flashed it with wrong bios file. then it appeard like boot block 1.0 later i flashed it with wrong bios file again . but when i turn on my computer everything works except display and floppy disk is not working. please help me. how can i recover it? now i have right flash file.

Did you flash it successfully with the wrong file?

According to Nick S. If you do that then the BiOS doens't detect a problem so BootBlock won't load up.

Apparently the only way is to maybe short certain pins on the actual chip inorder to create an error.

I can't tell you how to do that. Wait and see if someone else posts and can help you out.

So you flashed a wrong file and the bootblock BIOS came up?

Then using the bootlblock you flashed another wrong file?

And now you turn on the computer and nothing hapens? No beeps, nothing?

Yeah. you are right. It happend to me. The second flashing happend like this. It showed the same CheckSum number. But when it started to write a message appeared and said that FAILed to write the flash file. So then i restarted my computer. Nothing appeard on screen or I did'nt hear any beep sound.

Ouch. You fried your BIOS. Not literally, but now the bootblock doesn't even work. I had the same experience. Here are a few links on hot-flashing, what I used to recover my BIOS:

Also see if you have a PCI card supported by Uniflash, flashing your chip on such a card is easier than hot-flashing. And, one last link:

This gives you technical specs for a lot of chips, usefull for making sure the computer you use for hot-flashing supports your BIOS chip.
