Hi @ all...

The problem I have, I never seen before.
I have a great problem with the bios. Maybe that I have changed a option in the bios, that is not good :)

I have some experience in computer sience, but that time I don't know what to do.

Computer:
1000 MHz AMD Athlon Yes, I know it's an older one ;p
Asus A7V133 Motherboard
AwardBios

I have take a change of an option in the power menu. after this and a restart, my pc don't get back to windows.
It beep with a long beep and than power off (not me, the computer makes it alone).
I have than made the minimal installation with cards and ram (keyboard, one Rambank set with 128mb and a graphic card), I have changed the graphic card and the Rambank, also the ram it self more than one time and with other components, but no chance. the problem stays.
The beep comes often before the bios check the ram, and I get no picture on the monitor.

I don't know, what I can do.
Thanks you for helping me...

Try setting your motherboard to manual jumper mode, and then set it to the lowest possible FSB (100 I believe).

1.75 V is the right voltage for your CPU.
Can it succesfully pass POST?

mmhhh, Sorry, I don't know what you mean with POST ???

The bios displays nothing. It makes the pc out before I get a picture on the screen.

Maybe that the board is damaged, but I don't know what it is...
I set a feature of the "power control" center of the bios. and after that it beginns to take the pc out.

 the board is more than 4 years old :o

POST: Power On Self-Test.
When the mobo can do successfully, it beep a short tone once.
Check the jumpers settings and clear CMOS.

I've cleared the CMOS, and the short beep didn't comes.
It comes only a long beep and than the pc goes out.

I checked all jumper settings, and it's all ok.
I checked the site with the beepcodes, but the one long beep is not written down there.

Thanks for your helping...

AwardBIOS:
One long tone: DRAM Failure. Check DIMMs and use contact cleaner if needed.

The Ram is ok, no failure...
If I do no ram on the board, it beeps like this:
beek blank beep blank beep...

That's ok, that's the beeps for no ram or damaged ram.
