Hi, have failed the bios update on a S58M motherboard-ACER VERITON3200-.The original bios has the R05-A1 version, the new one I tried to flash in is the R05-R5. Have pulled out all this stuff from the official site of ACER. Unfortunatelly, in the middle of the flash the PC frozzed and after 30 min I just power off and on again- NOW IT IS DEAD!!
It just power on the processor fan for about 3 secs. then the fan stops, but the front led is always on, no beep, no video-DAMN IT!!!
Have looked inside, the bios chip is a SST 49LF004.
BTW, don't make the canonical beeps neither!!
Is there any way to revival this litlle jewell??
