I can't find it on this board. It has both sets of connectors. The User Manual has no setting for it.
Thanks,

Usually only plug-in the ATX connector and it should work.

Thanks Denniss:
I tried that, also, checked the P.S.U. It's O. K. I don't think that Soyo is going to answer for a M.B. this old. I tried them. I think that my best bet is that someone on some forum will remember.

from the mainboard manual:

"6.ATX Power On/Off Switch
Attach the 2-pin momentary type switch to the PWRBT connector for turning On or Off your ATX power supply."

it's on the front panel connector.

Good Morning Denniss:

I tried that. One of the pins is ground the other has a high resistence ground. Something is keeping the PSU from starting becaus when I short the green wire it runs normal.
Thanks,

Only the board connected with CPU and memory? No drives add-in cards/cabling yet? Any of those can be the problem. Another thing, shorting the green wire and have a spinning fan on the PSU is NOT a guarantee it is good. I have just kicked out a PSU that did just that, spin the fan but no output.

P.S.U. checks 0ut.

The Power supply runs another board and the P.O.ST. card gives the voltages an o.k. Iv'e tried to trace the starting pins with continuity but without a schematic it's hopeless.
Thanks,
