ASUS TX97-E DEAD

I think that this board is really dead.
Once I've inserted a DIMM in the board but the dim was not realy inserted, just a few pins made connection and the dimm was inserted from the wrong side. And I powered up the system.
From that moment on, the board never booted again.

Do you think that that procedure killed the board?

Thanks

Paulo

Sounds more like a dead memory stick.

Well, i think the memory is OK, because I'm using it in other boards.
I also tried other DIMMs and the result is the same.

Thank You

Then the board is probably toast or not worth doing board level repair.
