A7N8X Deluxe BIOS corrupt

I'm running an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe Rev 2.0 motherboard with an Athlon XP Barton 2500 and 1024 MB RAM.

I recently attempted to update my BIOS using awdflash.exe, and the process appeared to complete correctly, but now, when I boot, the computer says:
AWARD Bootblock BIOS v1.0

BIOS Checksum Error

Dectecting floppy drive A: media

INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER
If I insert a disk with a copy of AWDFLASH.EXE on it and press Enter, it says:

Drive size is 1.44 MB

Automatically loading AWDFLASH.EXE.....
It then gives the standard AWDFLASH screen interface, but from here, a variety of things can happen, depending one exactly what version of AWDFLASH.EXE I use:

Using v7.53: a few seconds later(maybe 10), I get the message:

"Error Message: Unknown Flash Type" and nothing further happens.

Is there a way to reflash the BIOS in this situation to resolve this issue?

Using most other versions:

The AWDFLASH interface appears, but hangs immediately, or sits for a second, displays the name of the BIOS .bin file on the floppy and then hangs.

I don't have access to another nForce2 motherboard, don't know anyone with one, and don't have an EPROM flasher, so all the simple solutions are out.

I've read that this error can normally be bypassed by adding a /F switch to AWDFLASH, but I don't have that luxury at the moment. I was wondering if there was either a utility that would flash the BIOS even in spite of not recognizing the flash type, or another technique I haven't heard of.

Thanks.[/quote]

This AWDFLASH version(824B) doesn't allow me to input a filename, it just says "Source File Not Found."

Do you happen to know what the filename it's trying to locate might be, if any?

Do you have the original CD shipped with the board?
It should be a BIOS update utility in there.
Maybe AsusUpdate for Windows.

I figured it out.
Had to use that fake AWDFLASH.EXE trick to get a command-line.
