Recently, i entered setup after restarting my computer and began to change my computers processor speed, which i eventually increased to 5x 100mhz, and since then i can't get back to windows 98, and even setup. I have tried taking the battery out for awhile, and removing all power cables, but nothing. I have been told i have to either reset my bios or alter my cmos. How can i do that if i can't enter setup. All i get after starting my computer up is a black screen. My bios is the following.
52-0315-001437-00101111-071595-000000
AMI BIOS - Release 03/15/1999S

Motherboard

M598-H Ver 5.0

S5 Dec 1998 Hsing Tech is the company

If anyone knows how i can fix my computers current problem without having to enter setup, please let me know. Again i can't get to setup and windows 98 after starting my computer up. So as far as i know i have to do this another way, without having to enter setup and os.

use JP3 to clear the cmos settings.
maybe you shouldn't play around with bios settings you don't know or try to overclock a K6-2 from 400 to 500MHz ;)
