Try Uniflash -
www.uniflash.org
Peel off the sticker on your flashrom chip to be sure what chip you have. A chip number starting with 28 needs 12V, with 29 it neds 5V programming voltage (if there's a voltage select j8umper for this). A chip marked with H.T. needs 12V, relabeled Macronix MX28F1000.

The chip is H.T.
EDIT:
Company name N/A (Is write protect disabled)
Shows uniflash
Also i cannot flash
Flash type UNKNOWN

If your board has a flash voltage jumper then set it to 12V. I had lots of experiance with these HT chips and they are awful, they often refuse to flash and Uniflash seems to have problems to proper identify them.
I have Uniflash not at my hand so this comes off my memory:
Uniflash -? oder /? should give you a list of commands. you need the -force command to force uniflash using MX28F1000PPC code, you need -chiplist to get the 4-digit code for this chip

Try C21A, is listed as MX28F1000P but should be MX28F1000PPC.
long, short, short should be a problem with the video card
This repeating short hight tone may point to a broken board or PSU. According to an Award beep codes lides continuous short beeps point to problems with power supplied to your motherboard.

uhh, also didnt work.
The video card works in another pc...
I just for fun put the bios chip in the pc where i did the hotflash... Same beepcode. The beepcode is definetly because of the wrong bios.
On this PC here i have a definetly working bios file, maybe i just downloaded the wrong bios for my mainboard.
i will try that.
Greets,

Let us know how things work out and if needed make sure you are actually dealing with an M538 and not something else PC Chippish...
