hot flash compatability

wondering if i can hotflash an ASUS p4pe-X with a bios from ASUS p4pe. can anyone give me a definite answer?
Check first if the bios chip is of same type and socketed.
If so, then youi can hotflash, but there is no guarantee of the result...
