ACPI Test Program?

This appears to be the best place to ask. I’m looking for a utility to test ACPI compatibility on a PC.

Ideally it would be a DOS application I can run off a boot floppy, but anything would do. I find my self doing many PC deployments on a wide array of hardware. Before I deploy an image of Windows 2000, or XP I would like to know if the computer will accept the ACPI image I’ve built.

All I want to know is if Microsoft Windows would install the ACPI kernel if I were to do a clean install.

Any ideas where I might find such a thing?

Have you checked the HCL to see if your boards are listed?

I was hoping for something quicker and easier. I’m looking for an ACPI test program that will run on any operating system regardless of what kernel is currently loaded. That is why I was looking for something which can run off a DOS boot floppy.

My search continues…..

I believe you may like this:

http://jurixt.free.fr/ftp/acpi/acpihctv161.exe
from http://www.jurixt.com/98/windows98_43.htm

This page also have others 3 programs, like Acpiview (I not tested they, only the acpihctv161.exe).
