I am trying to upgrade to more memory--I have installed a 256M sdram along with the original 128M sdram and my system only sees the 256M--I thought maybe I had a compatibility issue so I got another identical 256M sdram and installed it along with the first 256M for a total of 512M and it still only sees 256M--swapped slots and no difference--could my BIOS be causing this problem??If so where do I get a Flash Update from--I can't find anything with this exact number?? Running Win98
Bios=07/28/1999-i440BX-W83977-2A69KTGBC00
thanks, Rick

Intel i440BX chipset limitation
It supports memory up to 128MBit density only means you need a double sided 256MB stick with 16 memory chips
