Hi,
This is not a bx board(may be a bx technology). The 256MB ram i just bought has 8 chip. Is this still a chipset limitation? or I have to replace it with 16 chip 128MBit technology or two 128MB(8 chip) stick either. Is there any bios fix on this? Thanks for any response.

Oh, THIS board again. What's the chipset? VIA 693?

I´ve got the some problem you do.

My M6VBE-a only reads 128mb out of 256mb.
I´ve already flashed the BIOS from its original version, 1206A, to the VBE0727A which from a biostra ftp site that was recomended by Denniss and it still happens.

do I have to change some Bios setups?
sure should use some help.
and so does Neil :)
