Hi,

I have some difficult with DRAM CAS latency change. I have Kingston memory with timing CL2.0, but BIOS automatic setting is CL2.5 and I cannot change this setting in BIOS directly.

Mainboard: Asus A7S8X-MX
Memory: Kingston HyperX 512MB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL2 [2-3-2-6-1 - in BIOS only 2.5-3-3-8-2] 2.6V
BIOS: ASUS A7S8X-MX ACPI BIOS Revision 1007 (already modded - added CPU FSB setting - I can upload this modded vers. if needed)

Please help - how can I change memory CAS latency to right value?

Thanks for answer

Did you try the non-modified original Bios ?

Maaybe a bug in the Bios or incorrectly programmed SPD-EEPROM of your memory stick.

Yes, I tried original BIOS, but same problem. :(

So, can I re-program SPD-EEPROM on memory if there's a problem??
Or something else? Some hidden setting in BIOS maybe?

Problem solved! :D

I re-programmed SPD-EEPROM on memory by force of Thaiphoon Burner according to manufacturer specifications. And now it's working very well.

Thank you for your suggestion.
