Can anyone help to identify my motherboard?
The BIOS is shown:

05/26/2008-SiS661FX+964-6A7I4XX9C-00

I have inserted two pieces of 1GB RAM and they can be identified in CMOS screen. But in WinXP, only 1GB can be used. Is it the problem of the motherboard? But I couldn't find the any update information of the motherboard.

Thank you very much!

No other info in the same screen where you see this string? No markings on the motherboard itself at all that might be the model number?

Are you sure these are not 2 512MB modules sold as a 1GB kit?

The problem was finally solved by reseating the DIMMs. Thanks for helping anyway!

edwin here is the manufacturer site www.solarenergy.com.hk
my board is socket 478 and i still have the 2007 BIOS date when the
self-check is performed at boot.
I did a check in the china search engine, it seems some of them got an
update for the integrated Mirage SiS graphic card to v2.30 when mine
show up as 0.93.05

You can get your VGA bios updated here if you manage to extract your bios and make it available for download.
