my ami bios string is as follows:

at the top of the screen it says:

A6117FD V1.2B4 011398

Processor is a pII 233 mmx

You missed at least one "1" in your Bios-ID : should read 1169 not 169 !
This points to a MSI Board and your A6117FD meand MS-6117 as model number .
